The Cold Itzlerians fought with everything they had to defend their home planet from the plundering aliens, but in the end, the hotrock was stripped, and the aerosolized particles changed the climate of Cold Itzler, over only a few hundred years, the planet came to be known as Warm Itzler, even with all they had sacrificed, the Itzlerians held on to only a shadow of their former home. Their only chance to survive in the new climate was through forced endosymbiosis with one of their former enemies, the Librilbians. Their photosynthetic appendages allow them to regulate their body heat through transpiration, despite their large size and woolly coat of fur. Now, isolated and struggling colonies of Warm Itzlerians scrape out an existence in the farthest reaches of the Itzler star system. Even still, a robotic menace has reared it's ugly head, a Von Neumann probe was struck by one of the many pieces of space junk surrounding the Kessler-syndromed local orbit of Itzler (following destruction of the moons of itzler during the war of five factions), it has broken apart and scattered near the nest of a great Matriarch Warm Itzlerian and her small cluster of brood. Their discovery of robotic technology through the probe's pieces may be their last chance to regain their home in earnest, if they can fend off the mechanical foe.
