a 3090ti is currently $1000, so 100% chance for anything 4080 or below
sticking with my 3060 Ti
4070 should be good for most 4k games, which is a 700-800$ card
PoW just died, cards should go back down soon
gpu mining is dead so its a battle of wills between consumer and corporation now to see how much price gouging consumers will take.
theyre already down user, way fucking down
I'll still be using my 1650
What do you mean?
Of course there will be gpus below $1000
They have to shit out mid range and low end parts eventually
Apparently Jewvidia decided to turn the 4070 into 4080 and charge 4080 prices for it. So the 4070 we eventually get will actually be a 4060.
GPUs are gonna hard crash from miners dumping + nvidia over-playing their jew-ery and holding back stock.
save up and play the waiting game a little longer
they already crashed bro youre late
>he thinks there's only 1 dip
What? So what happens with actual 4080 or 4090?
oh boy, only double what x70 cards used to cost.
Same. Its more than enough to play games at high settings at 1440p and will be for the next few years. I'm not upgrading my card until I'm ready to go to 4k.
There's a bundle on Newegg for a 1440p 165hz monitor and a 3070 for $599 atm. It's so tempting...
Considering the prices of next gen CPUs, Motherboards, and DDR5 RAM, I think I’m gonna skip upgrading for awhile.
My 5800x and 3070 will hold me up for awhile, especially since graphics have kinda hit a peak. You only really need to upgrade if you’re trying to push the highest possible resolution and framerates.
Binned upwards. 4090 Ti
Real 4080 turns into a 4080ti
But I thought, 4090 are already manufactured and waiting in warehouses? Are they going to scrap it all and rename it to 90ti?
>my card is starting to fail now
link?
It's still "profitable" to mine. It's money laundering really.
