Why does Any Forumseddit pretend that this is worse than New Vegas again?
Fallout 3's map has less shit. >Without any of the available add-ons installed, there are 163 marked locations in Fallout 3, provided that the Lawbringer perk and the Contract Killer perk have been selected. Without these, there are 161 as the Regulator HQ and the scrapyard office are not available. The Vault 101 map marker is not counted in the Pip-Boy 3000 "locations discovered" statistic, resulting in a maximum displayed value of 162 discovered locations. >Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout, and Mothership Zeta add a total of 10 additional marked locations to the Capital Wasteland map and 52 more on separate world maps, coming to a grand total of 225 marked locations. Of this total, only 221 are counted towards the "locations discovered" statistic in the stats section of the Pip-Boy 3000 So >163 Marked locations in Fallout 3 Base game >225 Marked locations in Fallout 3 With DLC
New Vegas >There are 737 total named locations in Fallout: New Vegas and accompanying add-ons. In the base game there are 544 named locations, including 190 marked, 253 unmarked, 2 Wild Wasteland, 67 mentioned only, and 32 cut. With the add-ons, an additional 193 named locations are added, including 153 marked and 40 mentioned only. So >737 Named locations >190 Marked Location in Fallout NV Base Game >343 Marked Locations in Fallout NV with DLC included
>Better quests Lmao no >Better atmosphere Yes >Better world building Agreed, New Vegas world building is built off FO1/FO2 >Better exploration Yes >Better radio No >Settlements are more interesting Sure, all 4 of 'em. >Karma actually matters Barely, faction reputation matters much more >Factions are good vs evil This is not a positive thing, that's boring >World doesn't revolve around you 24/7 It does though >Kino expansions Zeta sucks but otherwise yes
They're both fucking kino though

Better than Anchorage. Anchorage turned fallout into a shooter. Dead Money turned Fallout into survival horror
The downside to the Anchorage rewards is the reward is a collection of the best weapons and armors in the entire game. If you do Anchorage from the moment you leave the Vault, you end up being ridiculously OP for everything else.

>download fallout 3 >shut doesn't work cause of games for windows >go through loopholes to make it work >works >crashes a lot anyways >nuke that town and quit Pretty sure I didn't miss much. Not really interested in fallout but when I go back I ain't playing this lmao. Should I start with 1 or NV?

3 has both of those. The regulators are cowboy inspired bounty hunters and the game is filled with criminal organisations.
I suppose you could count Littlehorn and Associates as a “mafia” too, although it’s implied that they’re just a hitman contracting agency for various bad people in the wastes

But I like westerns, and the only people who think their isn't clear good, and evil factions in new vegas are literal communists.

>when you finish fallout 3 (canon series): you become a better man because the game teach you the bible, you're dads care and you're and noble in-game sacrifice >when you finish rick and morty in the desert: you turn into a tranny because the game teach you that everything has to be your way and must lick you're cock all time

There's no pretending, anyone that likes fallout games likes it more, only kids that started with 3 and either didn't or couldn't play 1 & 2 like 3.
