i remember
i played bought a DVD disc with 4 games - Gothic 2 the Night of Raven, Bard's tale, Dungeon Siege, and some cyberpunk game i don't remember its name.
i mostly played Gothic and Bard's tale though, there were too many fork paths in Dungeon Siege, and magic system was weird.
but i mist that time when you could buy a single disk and 2 out of 4 games would be masterpieces on it. Such odds are almost impossible today.

All I remember was the first one being this tight hack and slash that gets boring after the first couple of levels
and the second one being too much into the story, couldn't eve get out of the town I was so bored
funnily enough it went the exact same way with nwn 1 and 2

I remember. I also remembering joining a multiplayer game for the first time, losing all my stuff and somehow get a chicken minigun. It was great. Then someone stole my copy of the game and now im pissed

One of my favorite games ever. I wish there were more like it. Being able to control a full group of 8 characters in an isometric arpg is fun.
Also obsidian completely fucking up the series with dungeon siege 3 can never be forgiven.

loved how crazy things got at the tail end of 1/2
it was like POE endgame (combat only) except you had a full party and was 10 years ahead of time
