Received my deck a few days ago. So far I tried:
>Rocket League (native)
Works flawlessly
>Civilization Revolution (emudeck RPCS3)
It launches and runs, however I occasionally get crashes in the form of eternal freeze. I didn't start looking into an RPCS3 fix yet, but if I don't find one it would pretty much be unplayable
>Mount and Blade Warband (native)
Somewhat had it on my backlog so it is a good opportunity to try it. Works flawlessly

I didn't try any proton-enabled game yet.

Welp, i've bitten the bullet, got my mail and ordered the 512GB version.
Are steam decks so hard to get that they need the whole "reserve by mail" bullshit? I was pressed to basically confirm my purchase in not even a week or wait god knows how long for another reservation, are these things made of gold?

Very nice. I've played Dead Cells, Deep Rock, BO2 and 3 (zombies), all through proton with great results, and a few Switch emulated games with similarly great results. I was surprised by how capable it is

Which region are you in? Last I heard, US and UK are up to June in fulfilled preorders and EU is in May so only slightly behind. However, June was when Valve announced that they would be able to fulfill all Steam preorders by the end of this year so it seems like there is another big hump of preorders then before they get to September.
