I paid for the whole PC, I'm gonna use the whole PC

Boomer here, what game is the modern "bUT cAN iT rUn CrYSis"?
What game uses the whole of PC resources, both SSD, RAM, GPU and mainly CPU(yet to see a game that uses more than 10% CPU)?
Preferentially games that use PC resources to reasonable reasons, not bitcoin miner or indie optimization.

crysis was just badly optimized

In terms of meme value: cyberpunk 2077

Unironically, No Man's Sky in 4k60+ max settings gives any PC a decent workout, the procedural generation can be really taxing on your CPU plus the game isn't optimized brilliantly.

i say this with complete sincerity: minecraft

If you said modded minecraft with shaders maybe I'd agree

No game uses more than 10% CPU because a video game maxing out every core is functionally impossible.
Just ask literally every developer that had to make shit on the PS3.

That's any game with close to infinite resource spawning, though. You can blow your PC up by playing that fireworks game and launching a million bottle rockets at once.

I know the RE3 remake and Village both have configurations for just about every graphical detail in the game. I have a 3080 Ti and a 5950 and still couldn't max out everything without overloading the VRAM

Modded Honeyselect.

It had breakingthrough graphics by the time.

that’s pretty chill, how do you keep your graphics card so cool?

Dwarf Fortress at max generation

not OP (and I doubt the pic is his) but have you tried undervolting? Look it up if you haven't.

Emulate a modern generation like PS4 games with everything maxed, emulation is very taxing on your PC

let me tell you about star citizen......
it will use all your cpu and more, and the volumetric gas giant will rape your gpu

>1 thread
>10% GPU

Why in God's name would you do this to yourself?

let me tell you about emulation user, that shit will fry an average PC, I would know, I have an I5 6600K and I can play any shit I want with high settings, but it chokes to emulate an anime game on switch without stuttering

going from Crysis to Crysis 2, it was really underwhelming how the suit modes were dumbed down. I liked going full gorilla strength and playing dodgeball with korean soldiers.

How do I filter obnoxious caps-alternating posters?
