Other devs should take notice

>the game is challenging
>bunch of retards start reeeeing online on how they feel excluded from the game
>demand the devs introduce easy mode
>dev softly whispers
>git gud
>the world is a bit better place

and that's how elden ring sold 16.6 million copies in 4 months, kids. by pandering to people who love games. not to people who should fuck off from the medium altogether. the end.

cant wait for the best elden ring speedrunner to get filtered by khezu

But it has an easy mode, it's called spirit summons and coop.
You can casualise it even more with the seamless coop mod if you are a complete baby.

It already has an easy mode

Good. I'd do the same. Can't beat my game? Then get fucked, either git gud or move on.

At least in the seamless mod i don't have to play the game twice just to have a game with a friend.

what if I come to Elden Ring from MH?

By pandering to trannys, you mean

If some bimbo could beat the game with a fucking dance pad there is no excuse

Summoning and co-op has always been Dark soul's easy mode.
Elden Ring can be both the hardest or easiest game they ever made depending on how you use the options they give you.

you mean using core game mechanics

You never played Last Raven

they did quietly nerf crystilians and godskins into the ground to appease the shitters though.

Why don't people realize that these games have built-in easy modes?

Even if you don't use summons, which cuts the difficulty in half, you can still just look up what the best weapons are, how to get them, where you can grind XP, etc. Elden Ring has more of these than ever.

Personally I'd prefer to have more balanced difficulty for single player and remove these tools altogether but regular people will just use them.

How has there not been an easy Soulslike made that has the combat system but without the difficulty, seems like it would make a lot of money

it does have an easy mode. theres the katana fag or magic.

>Personally I'd prefer to have more balanced difficulty for single player and remove these tools altogether but regular people will just use them.
right but the whole point in doing a souls like game instead of sekiro was so that people could choose how to play however they want and make unique playstyles. Once you get good at souls games that is actually fun. You can do theme builds like magic sword sorceries mixed with the magic sword weapon arts. Or crucible cosplay runs like this guy: youtube.com/watch?v=TgEfK0zbZ98&t

its fun because every run can actually be unique as some bosses will feel a lot different, some will be easy some harder.

I think there already was and people didn't care about it.

I heard that there are overlevered niggers on every corner and you have to pick the "right way" again which makes the game switching to open world extremely pointless

Its called playing dark souls 1 while stacking armor and using a zweihander or any other other heavy weapon

code vein and a few others tried.

Easy mode is a core game mode.
Sole trannoids are pathetic.

>the difficulty
lmao

Elden Ring is the Souls formula on easy mode you fucking moon cricket.
>Extreme loveseat accessibility with casual weapon arts
>invisible magic bosses can't see and dodge
>summons summons summons
>a trivial overwork due to nothing able to deal with your Torrents movespeed.
>The easiest game to get great gear without fighting a thing
>a fucking line drawn on the map to direct you
>Skyrim tier clairvoyance graces you can spot from your max render distance
>better embered form upgrade with the glyphs yiu get from shard owners
>god awful boss design that frontloaded cool shit for Margret/Moge then nothing besides one move from Radon
>le crafting
I swear you Fromshits are up your ass so hard you don't even a knowledge your shit franchise has been going the way of the casual audience for years. Elden Ring the most egregious example.

I played like 40 minutes of dark souls 1 as a monhun veteran (freedombaby)
the combat seems way too floaty, but I didn't play enough to get used to it
seems good tho

Give them summons and they STILL bitch. Wow.

Unpopular opinion: I play all my games (open world, role playing elements) on the easiest mode, because it’s still hours of fun and the stories are nice. I just hate doing the same quest over and over again because I get killed. I just want to enjoy the story. Who’s with me?

they should add a hard mode and rename current to easy
there you go

good. i fucking hate this "everyone should be able to experence everything"-mentality that prevails in modern game development. it's so fucking retarded and removes any sense of accomplishment.

>you have to pick the "right way"
you really dont. the recommended levels for zones is for pvp/co-op, truth is +6 weapon is going to be strong enough for all the way to liurnia, half of the underground, half of altus, most of volcano surrounding area, more than half of caelid including the castle/fort

>google "OP weapons/magic elden ring"
>ez mode activated
This shit was already easy.
