I watched some demo footage and I didn't see anything wrong performance wise.

the series might die here and underneath all the bullshit is a fundamentally solid game.

when I played there is significant stuttering and common frame drops in some of the later areas of the first chapter.
the tutorial and valhalla was fine but it definitely struggles with pop in.

I will get it on PC anyway once it releases. Loved VP1 and 2, but I have my expectations adjusted for what this really is, and it looks fun.

Yeah, it's a shame that it's tied to Valkyrie Profile and a lot of people aren't going to give it a chance because it's different. I played the demo after having zero expectations and thinking the initial reveal and trailers looked underwhelming and was surprised at how solid it was. I thought it started off slow but at the end and after getting the rapier I was having a blast. Look forward to seeing what other spells and weapons you get in the full game.
Not sure if I consider it a Day 1 buy yet but it's on my radar.

yeah, I'm pleasantly surprised with just how decent elysium is shaping up to be, considering the circumstances and the rate at which squeenix are squeezing out games, it seems some real effort went into making elysium quite good.

they're basically summons that are ai controlled that show up for a few seconds.
they're elemental and enemies have select elemental weaknesses so you're meant to combo them with the opposing einherjar so you can stun slap them to death.
I do think the combat is actually a pretty decent 3D interpretation of the originals
