It won't be as memorable as BOTW
It won't be as memorable as BOTW
Killed by Elden Kino
>bland empty open world with 3 enemy types and no story
>memorable
this is peak stockholm syndrome by nintendo
How can this be the case when they both have the same world. If you remember 1 you will automatically remember 2 and vice versa, l o l

should have named this tears of the Any Forumsirgins
the seethe it has generated in just a few days, amazing
If they don't show A LOT more enemies and typical Zelda enemies like spiders and redeads soon, I will just pirate it
Because BOTW revolves around exploring, and you've already explored this world.
People though the same of Majora's mask, but then it was different. I hope it's like that, different
>as memorable as BOTW
I barely remember anything about botw aside for the very beginning before you get the glider
Maybe find a better word than le memorable to say rehashing the same world is pathetic
>I barely remember anything about botw
I remember this board throwing a complete fucking meltdown which is still raw today 6 years later.
Majora's mask didn't reuse the same environments as OOT
BOTW is fun to an extent, but it's massive empty world feels very tedious to explore, especially when the rewards for exploring are just weapons that are probably worse than what I already have or fuckin korok seeds. The story isn't all that interesting, the voice acting in most cutscenes isn't spectacular (overall sound mixing is fantastic, but the direction they gave to the voice actors make the voices irritating in a lot of cases), and the lack of shit to do really gimps the game. People shit talk linear gameplay, but at least when they put me on rails they are able to tell me a story that doesn't suck.
Neither was Majora's Mask, but it was still the superior game.
The first 20% of the playthrough is memorable
I thought the name was withheld before because it would give away so much? "Tears of the Kingdom" doesn't really give much away at all.
I am so heckin ready...
>not even out and this shithole is already in full meltdown mode
imagine when the reviews drop
I used to agree with you but I realized BoTW isn’t about exploring for the sake of good rewards, it’s about exploring because that’s what you feel like doing.
It’s very much a game about intrinsic motivation whereas the majority of games focus on extrinsic motivation. It’s fine if it doesn’t appeal to you, but it’s not a shortcoming of the game
>It’s fine if it doesn’t appeal to you, but it’s not a shortcoming of the game
Yeah, fair enough. I just don't see the point in exploring when there is little to gain from it, either from rewards or from interesting locations. The world is a lot of open plains and trees with little else to find. Idk, I get it's a taste thing, but I could play minecraft if I wanted to explore uninteresting landscapes for hours with nothing gained from it.
