The fuck is the goal of The Institute anyways? What endgame is there in creating synths who will become more trouble than they're worth down the line? You spend all that resources, time, effort in both the physical and mental capacity to construct and program them, just for them to rebel, go AWOL, go against your expectations but still have the desire to hunt them down because of it? The Institute may as well create actual children the old fashioned way because thats what the synths may as well be.

I don't hate NV as a whole or consider it "reddit" in totality. That being said, OWB is maybe the most reddit DLC to have ever been made.
