1's got good design but the draw distance is like two character widths, and also the PAL version is completely unplayable.
2's theming is weak, there's too many gadgets (and no fucking quickswap outside of the japanese version for some reason), and the last few levels are a total slog also my personal favourite but Any Forums yells at me when I say that

It's a good platformer with cool collectibles, extras, stages, fun bosses and actuak improvements each game. I'd honestly play them in order because if you ever feel like playinf the other titles, 1 for example is really, actually outdated and has terrible camera and not so smooth controls.
