Thing is I'm pretty sure it's only a team of two people and I'm not sure they had any real experience making a platformer. Alien Hominid Invasion has streams every month of development, Nightmare Cops is still actively worked on according to JohnnyUtah's Twitter, Bowlbo had to be completely remade because they were originally going to use sprites for everything but have now switched to full 3D. The only person who fucked up is DingDong, and apparently they're expediting work on it because they're poor as shit

Absolutely, there's kind of a weird thing that happened where some people like me knew Chris and Zach from Newgrounds/Sleepy Cabin. Despite that, Chris actually got really popular with Dingdong and Julian in part because at the time they were associated with Gamegrumps and pulling in new younger fans from that demographic. They built a pretty big following in that era of people, mostly younger kids, who had never heard of Sleepy Cabin. I remember when Zach started appearing on the channel regularly after that I kept seeing comments saying "the new guys were OK but they miss DD and Julian" and shit like that implying the commenters had no clue that Chris had been collaborating on shit with Zach for much longer.

I felt bad for him until I turned on one of streams and he was complaining about people pulling their donations from their patreon. He was complaining like it was unreasonable that people were doing so even though since starting it they have produced nothing despite no longer making LP content. Dude makes it hard to like him, especially with how much he's complained about other indie devs and the ways they monetize their creations THAT THEY ACTUALLY FINISHED. Him calling Toby Fox greedy at this point is fucking laughable.
