Might be open in the way AC1 was open, but not fully open world sandbox checkmark repetition like the last handful of AC games. They want to "go back to the roots". I'm just glad they have a canon male protag now so all the waifu fags can seethe.

Video games will never be good again and died when the smart phone-woke era came about.
Ive been dissapointed by so many games because fundamentally after playing games for several decades the game play can only go so far, the stories have gotten worse and features cut while superficial graphics have gotten better.
The only way gaming can be revolutionized is with VR and advanced AI tech becoming public.
The only game I am now cautiously optimistic about is Scorn.
