Every major problem with Any Forums comes from the nature of the majority of it's userbase. There is nothing that any actual realistic intervention into how the site operates could achieve.
This board is flooded by people who use it as a surrogate for their old social media additction. That is the whole fucking problem. People come here to do an equivalent of posting their fucking dinner: that is to say offer absolutely nothing worth sharing, but still hoping for that (You) anyway.
This can't be fixed because it's a population-wide issue.
