It's underrated for sure
It's Kojima's best post-MGS3 game

>What I wanted
>>Ground Zeroes infiltration kino
thats exactly what tpp is

>huge variety of tools and bases to infiltrate in a sandbox playground
>up to 100 hours of content easily
>story that isn't in your face all the time but still provides context and amazing moments that stick with you
>memorable quotes
>interesting twist mirroring MGS2 in the BB timeline
>badass stoic Medic Snake
>vocal cord parasites as 80s take on the nanomachines
>still ties to MG1 but in a more nuanced and subtle way than people expected
>repeated missions are completely optional but still fun to replay with added difficulty
>kino helicopter rides with your buddy Pequod

10/10 would suffer from Phantom Pain again

Its not, most location suck compared to Camp Omega. Only a few are good like the Soviet Research base, and they're all dragged down by being stuck the dull as fuck open world. They even downgraded stuff like being able to find weapons and equipment in the open world.

Only good one you mean

>vocal cord parasites as 80s take on the nanomachines

Kill yourself for listing this as a positive, holy shit.

for me it was shitposting before the game released and saying that quiet was just a grown up transtesticle version of chico
farewell sausage

Only reason is that it's so good is Hideo 'failed movie director' Kojima wasn't allowed to put in cutscenes/codecs to gameplay time at a ratio of 80:20 with the previous titles

In fact I'd say outside of two cutscenes, you could skip them all and still understand what to do. Those two being the child soldier 'fight' and the second time you fight the man on fire

>kino helicopter rides with your buddy Pequod
Glad to see someone else enjoyed them. It made them game more immersive and I did like Pequod.

Yeah I love those rides. You don't just show up out of nowhere, the helicopter plays a role in your mission and it's way more immersive like you said.
I could skip them with Infinite Heaven but it just doesn't feel right.

>never played any metal gear game
>still have 800 hours on mgo on pc and ps4
idk

>>Eliminate the Enemy Unit #57
Remember GZ with actual side missions? Like having cod shooting gallery or mission on a timer or assassination missions. Each provided something new, assassination mission provided daylight which made sneaking a bit harder

Nah sorry son we only have PW (monster hunter) side ops on a big platfoms

>mgo on pc

What? How? Is it popular?

GZ side missions were just main missions without story, TPP has like 40 of them

>were just main missions without story,
Not the point, dumbo. The point is that each provided something new and were designed accordingly instead of dumping 5 guys with aks and 2 apc in the middle of the desert #1488

why didn't cipher or whoever the fuck he is just spam the motherbase with cruise missiles? it's just a platform in the sea

bruh, what's with all the TPP threads the last few days

Attached: 15555799883.jpg (200x200, 13.26K)

yeah GZ doesn't even have that lol

>making this thread daily
most fans and even normies consider it a failure, which of course it is

Literally who?

MGS fans are ugly trannies
and normalfags not liking a game just means it's good
MGSV yet again proves to be based
