Rampant.

>mods
>for your first playthrough
dumb zoomer

Vanilla first.
Then mods.

Nice reading comprehension.

you don't need anything, just play the game faggot

Extended power poles and squeak through. Don't use any major mod changes on your first playthrough. Just QoL.

if you have 500 hours of free time, try space exploration

Essential mods are needed for unpolished, half baked, games. This game has no essential mods.

This is the most polished game of all time user
There are no essential mods
Play vanilla until you at least launch a rocket, then consider overhaul mods like krastorio, space exploration, industrial revolution
Rampant is also good if you feel like biters are pushovers

ok, thanks guys. I will play vanilla

Have fun user, make sure you have no plans early tomorrow or the day after that

t.

None. Launch your rocket. Then do it without bots. Then get Lazy Bastard. Now you can use mods.

Maybe some very basic QoL like Even Distribution or Vehicle Snap. But year, nothing major for your first playthrough.

>essential mods that I need
What you need is
>Vanilla, railworld
>"raining bullets", "steam all the way", "logistic network embargo", "you are doing it right", and "lazy bastard" achievements pinned

>ITT: nobody read the OP

>first time in a while
>IN A WHILE
Which means OP played Factorio previously.

This type of game tickles my autism and I am inclined to trying it out but my autism also prevents me as the conveyer belts and machines in general being under a naked sky and not under some sort of roof bothers me too much to bother with it

Even Distribution is the most essential mod there is, even for first timers.

easy fix
produce enough pollution to cover the sky

no u

It would be interesting if it was all inside, it would be like how Dexter's Lab seems to just have unlimited space.

>Even Distribution
It kind of surprises me this isn't vanilla.

That kinds of thing is why Satisfactory still manages to have an audience. Factorio is comparatively limited if you care about aesthetics.

one word of advice OP because i wish someone told me sooner, make everything bigger than you need
