Splatoon is the vanguard of the console shooter future and once Halo's pernicious aim assist influence is dead and buried the excellence of gyro aim can become industry standard. Splatoon's weapons are the most mechanically creative and creative period of any shooter ever made and everything is a joy to just simply use.
We are at a sort of crossroads gentlemen. If we want to see shooter gaming improve we have the responsibility to try and mitigate 2 unfortunate realities: that A. while the ps5 has gyro it's shooters seldom make use of it and it is never pushed as the default. B. XBox's newest console doesn't even come with gyro (again because of Halo's influence). This is a potential hamper to the spread of gyro and so we have some motherfucking propaganda to spread.
Splatoon is the second greatest (multiplayer) shooter of all time next to Team Fortress 2. Shill this fact to everyone, everywhere. You all are not usually my personal army. But you should be.
Gyro: a testment to Splatoon 3's greatness
I'd like it if they added an option for flick stick. I've never tried that before but it seems interesting.
This thread is now about precious cheesy inkling feets
The one remaining improvement to be made to Splatoon's controls. I agree.
Console player here. Iwill never use gyro in shooting games. I refuse to move my controller left and right like a retard to aim. Also aim assist is based and all the popular fps use it (Apex, Warzone etc).
Can't wait to see more PC players switch to controllers because aik assist is just THAT good.
I hope so too, I'm real bad at using the right stick with gyro but I can aim really well with the gyro itself.
It will never happen though.
Then you will be left in the irrelvant dustbin of history. I am right. Objectively. Halo's modern failure and the fact that no aim assist game has any REAL esports scene make what I forsee inevitable.
Any tips for wagglan and mashing? I'm using inkbrush and my hand hurts
If you can't handle mashing with Inkbrush, unironically stop using the weapon and switch to Octobrush or some other short range spray weapon. It's not worth fucking your hands over.
yeah, pick a different weapon
>I'm too retarded to aim on my own and have to play a game that does it for me
>Everything is a joy to use
Except the Tri-Stringer, that thing is sad. Dualies were great, why is 3's main weapon trash?
yeah i dont think this game is worth 60 bucks
OP here I highly reccomend +4.5 gyro and +5 sticks for your purposes and also agree with on Octobrush.
Octobrsuh is so absurdly easy to do well with it frankly offends me. Good luck.
Yeah, 80 sounds about right to me
why 80?
Just remembered, Sploosh would probably be a good alternative since it is another very mobile short range weapon and curling bombs can kind of emulate brush rolling.
On your orders Cap I would give my life.
Yeah just don't mash that hard. The swing speed isn't that high and you only need so many hits to kill someone.
60 and 20 dollar online fee
Cause i play as an octoling
I got a question now that this is a splatoon thread too
Whats the deal with splatoon 3 story?
Someone give me a quick rundown
>was all about the gyro aiming added to Turok 2
>only okay Doom 2016 with gyro, it's too hectic a game to aim with stick
>friend got me into Fortnite and I was having trouble until I turned on gyro
>can't play shooters that don't have it anymore
>Splatoon comes with it by default
Truly the control scheme of the future.
You just don't understand it. While I personally suck with it I did encounter a lad who understood it perfectly and trounced me with it and also made me realize it' fun potential: the key is to not treat it as a charger variant but an Explosher one. Zoning is the name of the game.
I know that, and I've used it like that too but it still just feels kind of shitty. Maybe I have to try it out in Tower Control or Rainmaker, I've only really used it in Splat Zones so far.
What is the advantage of Ink Brush vs. Octo Brush?
Grizz wants to bring back mommy milkies but he's doing it the wrong way and we gotta stop him
