Like all trend chasers it doesn't get what made Fromshits same game new year formula actually decent. First off the majority of them aren't even hard just punishing, secondly they typically end up as boring shit stains that make most players not interested in playing in the first place, thirdly they always have god awful fucking hitboxes. Even Fromshit fucked up with DS3 and Elden Ring making inferior products to what came before, unless you are one of those brainlets that think good graphics means good game. The worst fucking part of all of this is it gave your NPC ass a reason to make a pointless thread on Any Forums.

That's the thing though, isn't it? It's not "souls clones" because they don't copy anything but combat and the vague idea that the enemies should deal obnoxious amounts of damage. How about copying actual features like desolate, dignified designs, flexibility of character builds or god damn async multiplayer with messages and invasions?
