I wish I checked out this game sooner, it's actually really fun. It does make me feel retarded at times though

I'm too smooth brain to be good at shenzhen i/o but i'm enjoying the solitaire pack. Any zachtronic game suggestions? Also how's opus magnum

I only just started playing it because it's on Gamepass and I'm liking it, not sure how the other games compare but the base campaign doesn't seem too complex so far. The only part that really fucks with me is the timings on all your commands and making sure it all lines up at the end.

sounds like its worth a shot!

opus is considered the easiest and most accesible. you get infinite space so it's easy to bruteforce a puzzle things if you're stuck, keep playing, and come back later to give it another go
in the vein of shenzhen I'd recommend exapunks, it does away with chip linking, which reduces complexity a bit, and you get far more space, so it's easier to bruteforce too. the lategame and postgame levels do get quite hard however, feels more like work than fun on some of them

Shenzhen IO and TIS-100 are straight up programming problems, the other Zachtronics games are more game-like. Infinifactory and Magnum Opus are pretty good starter ones

lmao

Exapunks is great.

I wish the game had a speed stat because fast code is usually pretty big and can take a lot of cycles.

Come on, you can do it

Is this loss?

Holy fucking shit, I thought it looked familiar.

Pirated just to see if I would like it, I love this game. Gonna buy it soon.

I was enjoying Last Call BBS but then I finished the dungeons and assembly line puzzles and beat the solitaire and the other puzzles are way too fucking abstract for me

Is that all just to make an ice cold glass of cola?

yeah shenzhen was really straight up programming and i barely have experience in that, it was fun while i could get it. Probably going to return to it eventually once i learn more.

I'll try opus since it seems accessible and exapunks, maybe before returning to shenzhen

thanks anons
