The 3DS actually has a hidden mode that allows it to display in 800x240p.
It can't be forced in commercials games (yet?) but it looks lovely in the Mario 64 port.

I own one after buying it secondhand and I kinda regret it. I ended up mainly using it to stream Fall Guys and Dark Souls 3 from my PS4, and when I wasn't doing that I was playing PSP and PS1 games. There's fucking nothing in the library that interested me and wasn't Dragon's Crown or Muramasa.

I prefer my Vita over the 3DS. I still have several games for it, mostly rhythm games, as well as Muramasa Rebirth and Lumines: Electronic Symphony. Literally the only 3DS game I kept is Project Mirai DX.
I'm still not going to be some faggot who pretends it "won" just because I like it more.
And, like said, that whole gen sucked for handhelds.
