he may not but i am a legit nelson box household and i always go to tnt and press the minus button on my box when aew is on. we are actually a three box household so sometimes i go to the other two boxes in the house and press the minus button on those too. when you scale it up i am probably responsible for -140k ratings points kek. assuming my wife isnt going to use the television in the bedroom tonight i will leave all 3 boxes running on raw while i'm sleeping. so that will be +3 in 18-49. i wouldnt be surprised if a ton of other people arent also doing this for other shows. there's no downside, the modern boxes log the data automatically so i don't even have to fill out any kind of journal

As of 2021, there are only 15,000 Nielsen households. You would need 90+ Nielsen boxes to affect a rating by 140,000. The single only method of negatively affecting a rating is by not watching the show at all.
