Chrono Trigger has one of the best "random encounter" music tracks. It doesn't try to sound breathtaking and epic like most jrpgs.
Instead it sounds casual enough for a fight that will probably end in 3 turns and happens every few minutes.

Too bad only handful of games took full advantage of that

Having access to multiple haste helmets is some bullshit though.
