No decent developer, just trashcan devs that cannot please anyone, the story feels like fanfic, the visuals got ruined over the years, the settings still has no option to properly turn off other players effects or reduce it to acceptable levels (effect lod is garbage). Also 10th anniversary was by far the worst anniversary in entire history of Guild Wars 2. Steam release was fail, the twitch drops were fucking short and gem store sales were non-existant (few days with few items, but generally no schedule and actually decent offers). The game with incredible potential ruined by developers themselves.

Its been 10 years. I wasn't happy either but they're different games. Just be glad that you can still play GW1 and that its servers will continue to be around for as long as 2 stays up because it apparently costs nothing to host.
