honestly i just wanted to like the game, but my cynicism didn't let me. the internet hailing the game as a masterpiece and never talking about it's flaws makes me want to do the opposite. maybe that's why i dont have the heart to shit on dark souls 2 anymore, since it gets its fair share of hate and love from both sides
