How does Deck's thermals handle with older games that want to do nothing other than max the fuck out of a single cpu core? This thing's main appeal to me (waiting on a 2nd-gen model at present in hopes of bettery battery life) is playing old shit. Particularly the late-Win98/early-WinXP era of games, assuming Proton can play nice with DX7-8 games.

Older games seem to take fuck all for battery life to run so I would assume the thermals are nothing. The only time I've actually seen the deck pushed to its limit and really start to sweat is doing shit in RPCS3 and Yuzu, usually with powertools really straining individual cores. e.g youtube.com
