Pretty much every gameplay change in NV from F3 was an improvement.

Literally the only enemies in 3 that had boatloads of health were Super Mutant Overlords and Feral Ghoul Reavers. Both DLC only. True, they were kinda bullshit, but both could be killed with one hit from the Metal Blaster, Double Barreled Shotgun, or even just regular shotgun.

VATS is for pussies.

Based, the Laser Rifle with all mods (Except scope because it's ugly and bulky) is ol' reliable of any Energy Weapons run.

The wasteland being a literal fucking wasteland in Fallout 3 makes the game terrible.
And no amount of nitpicking, pointing out all the garbage you can find in the wasteland, changes this.

The game has like 3 big settlements, one is an absolutely fucktarded, literal trashtown built from broken and rusted sheets of metal and other trash, surrounding a nuclear bomb.
The other is a big cruiser, and people just live in it as if it was some big apartment complex.
But then you've got the literal apartment complex with the tower.
And all of these fucking suck.

new Vegas is the best ideation.

VATS isn’t as broken in 3 as people claim it is. It’s true you can use the i-frames of VATS to nullify otherwise lethal attacks, but you have to have enough AP to use it. In fact, learning when to exploit the I-Frames was part of the strategy of combat.

Enemies in NV are way spongier BECAUSE of DT forcing you to use different ammo types.

This was a bad change. It makes explosives too OP when explosives was already a decently useful skill in 3 that didn’t need buffing.

Also, probably one of the biggest gameplay problems of NV is how they changed how Repair works. Repair is near worthless in NV because it doesn’t restrict the extent to which you can Repair items based on your Repair skill.

I don't use or like any of those guns and shit dies really fast.

I really don't understand LotR. I couldn't finish the first movie because it was fucking boring and I hate looking at manlets, so maybe the lore is better elaborated upon in movies two and three. I'm not against reading, I actually spend more time reading than playing vidya, but the first LotR movie was so boring and nonsensical it has given me a bias against ever reading the books.
What benefit could Sauron possibly have had, cutting off some of his power and infusing it into a ring? If his power in a ring can control all those wearing related rings, why on earth would his base power simply not be enough by itself? The ring seems like a dilution of his power. Also, in the opening scene of the first movie, why would he reach out his hand to Isuldur and risk the ring being cut off rather than just smashing Isuldur with his off-hand? Why not add extra layers of armor over your ring hand? Or is Isuldur's sword some equivalent of a vibroblade? (I mean the last question without any sarcasm, it would actually make sense if it were). Gollum's very existence reveals how fucking retarded you'd have to be to infuse your power into an unprotected ring. Isn't that asshole supposed to be the general of an angel and a progenitor of the elves? Yet he had to trick Celebrimbor into helping him fuse his own power into a ring? (I've played the sexy spider games). For what fucking purpose? WHY would you invest yourself into such a flimsly relic? It's like an alcoholic Lich making their phylactery a whisky glass.
