He did nothing wrong. Humanity wasn't worth saving, the surgery probably wouldn't have resulted in a vaccine. He had no reason to save humanity at the cost of his new daughter. he did nothing wrong

He did plenty wrong and he himself would admit it, he was an ex-hunter, he knew exactly what their tactics were because he's participated in the same thing, when you see Hunters shooting Innocents for their shoes, that's Joel. The vaccine wouldn't have suddenly saved humanity but it would've been a start.

Shut up Cuckmann, you hack.

Cuckman doesn't care. He decided Joel was bad and vengeful the moment his daughter died. He's not a hero through the whole game and lies to the one person he cares about. And thus he suffers for it in the sequel.

who cares lol
it's time for sarah

It's true, I don't understand why the truth is upsetting you, if you play the first game Joel and Ellie talk a bit about his past as a Hunter

kill yourself. i would love to see joel smashing your head in with a brick. i would love to see him torture you and kill you in the most brutal way possible. die, faggot

so? in a post apocalyptic world, you cant expect to survive as long as joel has without getting your hands dirty. he doesnt enjoy it, he just did what he had to do to keep himself and his little brother alive. you cant judge him.

Based

Why do you say all of this like it's a bad thing? Druckmann doesn't hate Joel, in Part 2 after he dies, there's a big memorial to him in Jackson and everyone talks about how he was the heart of the community.

>the surgery probably wouldn't have resulted in a vaccine.
we should assume it would. That's the meaning of the first game, narratively speaking and i hate how some people cancell that part.

Based. Fuck ningen.

there's a note in the university talking about how theyve tried before and failed. theres no guarantee they wouldve even gotten a vacciine out of her

If the past few years have proven anything, it's that 90% of the medical community are midwit indoctrinated drones who poison, murder and harvest organs for money.
Joel did nothing wrong.

who are you even arguing against? its understandable why ELLIE was mad about it and that's what's important in the story.

Lol ok chud
BTW Russia lost

MMM SWEATY HER BODY HER CHOICE

trump lost
and trump lost

2 is weird with Joel's character. We learn he's good to the community but has become an overprotective father of Ellie, which comes to head when she discovers he lied.
But then the game waits to the very end to reveal that they forgave each other, which is why she spared Abby.
But the game really does try to bully the player into thinking Joel was wrong in LOU1.

Did they leave that in or did they recon it.

the important part of the story is in the end, you have to put yourslef in joel's shoes and think for yourself if he did the wrong thing. on the surface, it looks like he just doomed humanity for "selfish" reasons. but did he really doom them? he chose to not give his new daughter up for a "chance" at making a cure. but a human killed his real daughter. humanity is rotten and doesnt deserve to be saved. or does it? the reason why the first game was so good is this morally grey situation left you with questions, and answers only you can come to the conclusion of. the second game ruined that entirely by painting this morally grey choice he made as an objectively evil thing

wrong. to Abby yes it was evil and to Ellie it was something she understably struggled with.

the game still portrays what joel did as evil and not morally grey, as it was.

Ok?

>vaccine
>for a fungal infection
the premise is retarded anyway

there's literally nothing to retcon.

Why are you proving their point your answer is NPC respond.

SJWs writing is childish and ameteareus it lacks any depht, the show feels like reality tv just missing the laugh track. Somehow all the talent has been sucked out of industry and there is nothing left but hollow muttness.

i wish joel ws real so he could see this then actually murder you in more brutal ways than he murdered the cannibals. fuck you you disgusting pedophile. fucking FAGGOT pedophile. die.

the game didn't want you to think what Joel did was completely monstrous or unjustified, the second game is all about Ellie having the exact same response to his death telling us she would have done the same thing he did to save him their love goes beyond keeping their humanity. the game even ends with Joel telling us he'd do it all over again. the games are actually extremely sympathetic towards Joel this idea they want you to view him as evil and completely unadmirable is just from the fans

>But the game really does try to bully the player into thinking Joel was wrong in LOU1.
it literally doesn't

no the game didn't care about whether the situation was morally grey or not. the point was both ellie and abby's perspective of it.
