Does Noah ever stop being the most boring fucking protagonist imaginable? I'm at Chapter 4 and his whole Mr. Perfect "let me give positive philosophy over the tiniest fucking thing" is eye-rolling. Shulk was boring as fuck too, but at least he had the revenge thing going for him until 1's story shat itself, and Rex acutally had a personality, he just looked stupid as fuck. I'm at Chapter 4 and so far Noah has absolutley nothing going for him other than a cool jacket.

Yes Chapter 5
All the Xeno MCs are boring generic protags. At least this dude doesnt look like a retard
I know you meant to say Xenoblade instead of Xeno so you are forgiven
Well, it's a VERY nice jacket
Elma was pretty fun outside of the main story
>Rex acutally had a personality
That's a kneeslapper
>Xenosaga
>generic protags
>until 1's story shat itself
Amazing how despite all the dickriding you fags do for Xenoblade 1, you guys still don’t understand the kind of person Shulk is.
This. Xenosaga has some of the more unusual protags in JRPGs, ranging from a suicidal involuntary cyborg to fucking Mary Magdalene.
No, never. Takahashi the cuck is too scared after Xenosaga's failure of making a protagonist that isn't an inoffensive generic goody two shoes, because he's afraid people might dislike them otherwise. He admitted this in an Iwata Asks many years ago
Actually this.
Bros help
Im getting burnt out in grinding my classes to level 10-20 and doing everyones long ass ascension quest
Why did MS make it take so long when endgame enemies are so weak?
>you guys still don’t understand the kind of person Shulk is.
I understand perfectly, he's the kind of guy who will let you murder everyone he knows and loves if you happen to be the same race as him.
Stop grinding and wait for the DLC. No point playing further if you're burnt out and already beat the game.
Get to the end of chapter 5 to understand how punished and on the brink Noah actually is.
>implying Rex isn’t the eternal optimist of the three
Did you actually play through 2? He only has a bit of pessimistic self-doubt for about 20 minutes of the whole game.
Thanks for proving my point. Please go replay Xenoblade 1 and pay attention this time.
Noah is female wish fulfillment.
Salt of the earth is a personality type, that's how I saw him at any rate.
That said I think it's inaccurate to label any of the xenoblade protagonists as generic.
>That said I think it's inaccurate to label any of the xenoblade protagonists as generic.
lol
god I wish Noah was even remotely similar to Fei in terms of depth
Rex and Shulk weren't boring
He is Fei if Fei was written by a washed up Japanese director
