Its so weird that this game featured more dbz content than dbgt content albeit being based on GT

It's also worth noting that it came out on the US when the Saiyan Saga was still airing so half of the shit in this game made no sense

>play build up mode
>make a level 1 character
>go fight the highest level enemy you can
>stunlock them with a generic punch and punch them for like 20 minutes until they die
>become one punch man
Good times.

Didn't it originally come out before Super 17?

This, it came out before Super 17 and evil shenrons. They also assumed GT would be long running and make multiple games about it.

The real ? is why no Uub and Super Baby outside of great ape.

Because if they used GT content they'd only have 5 characters.

It came out August 21 1997.
That's about 3-4 weeks after Super 17? So yeah he could have been in the game and the devs definitely knew about him.

Blame whoever aired the anime for being slow.

>Play this in grade school
>Super saiyan episodes JUST came out on toonami
>Know what super saiyan 4 looks like
>Knew that no one would believe me

is this the daily /dbs/pic schizo thread?

And going back to FUCKING RADITZ a million times.

Same for me.

You DID gave him some pleasure, right Any Forums?

Dragon ball gt is better than super

I trained my character with a controller that had makro's over a few nights.
Afterwards I killed people with a single hit, basic ki shot or any combo.

I loved that shit so much.

People shit on that game a lot but I think it was the greatest PS1 DBZ/GT game.

truly magical times. People used to believe Trunks was GT only, no concept of what the fuck Buu even was.

*hourly

It isn't a GT game you amerifuck.
The original title is Dragon Ball Final Bout. The GT part is only in the US cause you got the game 5 years later after its initial release

Guys would you consider dragonball being a franchise about martial arts? i talked about this with my girlfriend before and ahe laughed at me before we had sex but i can not decide if it is about martial Arts anymore or not?

Holy shit what a blast of nostalgia.
This game is the first thing I ever bought online, got it from eBay, I had to convince my mom.
It came from Japan, I was so excited to play it, but when I put he disc in... it didn't work in my non-japanese PS2... Sad day.
Still have never actually played this game.
This was long before Budokai existed.

i remember getting this and ub22 in middle school and played it with my brother everyday for weeks.
now i tried playing it and it’s hot garbage.

>people spend years shitting on GT
>Super happens
>now everyone is nostalgic for GT

Disingenuous motherfuckers.

Dragon Ball, as in, the original, definitely is about martial arts.
DBZ and beyond still is a little bit, but becomes much more of a superhero thing.

honestly only the first arc of GT sucks. Baby, Super 17 and Evil Dragons are kino af.

People still shit on GT its just that GTfags now have an excuse with Super

They're all shit user especially super 17.
