Who cares we already played it years ago.

and you'll play it again.

Who would port it? Grezzo? Aren't they working on something else right now?

Cool always wanted to play it

Bandai-Namco is working on it right now. Job listings on their Japanese website is asking for help for a Nintendo contract and specifying that it's a remastered 3D action game. Jeff Grubb confirmed it's Uprising.

You really missed out user. If you owned a 3DS, you slept on one of the best games in the entire library.

I didn't, I heard it's killer on the wrists and didn't want to hurt myself

Let's say Uprising does appear during the next Nintendo Direct. What improvements would you like them to make to the game? I'd love to see the 4 cut chapters make a return. I have a feeling they were about Magnus and Gaol, both characters deserve way more screen time than they originally got.

Please, lord.
I'll even pay for nintendo's stupid online.

what's so good about it? doesn't look anything special. also can you play it left handed?

I care
I want the ridiculous multiplayer to be alive again

NTa but
>insane amount of replay value
>several well written villains
>Star Fox 64 tier banter between characters
>pretty customizable ability system
>hectic online
>good 3D
>actually gets legitimately difficult on higher difficulties

Based, multiplayer was fun

How do they know it is uprising and not some other game?

good, maybe playing on the switch wont be such a fucking hassle

Here's a quick rundown on why this game is so beloved
>108 unique weapons for you to collect
>Each weapon has its own stats and perks, you can combine two weapons to get an even stronger one
>Risk vs. reward gameplay; highest difficulty grants the most rewards
>Hundreds of fully modeled collectables (think trophies from Smash) that give background lore
>Online multiplayer where you get to use your overpowered weapons against other people
>Cutscenes are short and sweet, gameplay takes absolute priority over the story
>Both a rail shooter and a TPS at the same time
It's pretty fucking solid. I've heard you can play left handed, but you might need to dick around with the controls first.

How would the controls even work on Switch?

This is a game I would absolutely buy again, even if they just upscaled it. The environments were so varied and creative in each chapter.

How do they know it's uprising?

Grezzo is working on Ever Oasis for switch

>What improvements would you like them to make to the game
Make the controls not give people carpal tunnel, more phosphora, more voicelines.
>the 4 cut chapters make a return
???

Gyro aiming and a quick turn button.

Assuming this is true, how would they translate the bottom screen banter to the switch without cluttering the screen.

i played this a bit back then, is this a rail shooter?

Unironically the only video game that deserves a remake. It's a crime for that shit to be stuck on the 3DS

I'd be cool with it. It's a great game, couldn't believe it was a 3DS game at the time.

It’s easily one of if not the best rail shooters of all time

Just clutter the screen. Shit was a pain in the ass to follow since you were always focused on the top screen.

Glad you asked. Basically, every major 3D Zelda game has already been remade or brought to Switch, and even then, Nintendo has companies like Grizzo handling Zelda ports.
Metroid Prime is handled solely by Retro, so Bandai-Namco couldn't be remaking Prime.
However, Uprising was a Sakurai passion project, and Bandai-Namco has worked with Sakurai for nearly a decade now thanks to Smash. Not only does Uprising make the most sense, Jeff Grubb who's unironically correct almost 100% of the time, says Uprising was being handled by Bandai-Namco.

Allegedly a September direct is only a few weeks away, so we'll just have to wait and see to know for sure.

meh, maybe i'll give it a try.
