If we go by lore its definitely dunmer, but I like Breton quite a lot, they usually are among the best if not the best races when it comes to min-maxing characters, looks like someone in Bethesda really likes them.

dunmer overall is my favorite, its just a shame theyve gotten so watered down since 3.

one concession i never see people talk about is their voice. the harsh gravely voice is gone and the excuse is "well the ash and smoke from red mountain is why they sounded like that" while forgetting that none of the female dunmer sounded like that in morrowind.

similarly the they made the bosmer sound a lot more generic too, but i suppose thats more an attempt to fix them being walking jokes.
