Level near the end of the game where you’re overpowered and slaughter a bunch of enemies really easily.

Name 78 games that do this. You have 5 minutes starting from the second this post is up.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3

>the final boss has two themes, the first one being pure tension/hype-building
I love a good final boss phase one theme

horror levels in non-horror games

This always works unlike stealth or platforming in non stealth or platforming games. Guess because it's just a shift in setting and can use the same gameplay.
Though I felt there was a lot of unique gameplay to Ravenholm too.

>bosses are themed on the 7 deadly sins

>Final boss theme includes main theme/title theme/overworld theme/some other song associated with the protagonist or what you're protecting
Examples: Undertale, Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Monster Hunter 4U, Bravely Default

Silly dumbass turns out to be hot shit/the strongest when he goes serious

>Halloween-themed level or world
Jack-o-lanterns are a must.

Racism. Sounds like a weird thing to say but it makes a world way more realistic.

I finished DA Origins Awakening DLC as an elf and it was very interesting. Not only do people still treat me with disdain for my race, but, since I let the city perish, the world views this as an antagonistic revenge plot to avenge my people.

In most games, this would never be said, but that is how people would view this in reality. The city was completely lost to the blight, but it's far easier to say an Elf decided to get revenge instead of risking their life for humans. Goes a long way to make a world feel like a real place.

>collectibles provide zero/cosmetic rewards, only there for autists
I miss the old times

>the final boss is chang all along

>Level up
>Fully restore health and mana

i know this is an UX thing
but
>combos increase the size of the damage numbers for every hit

>Game has an Easter Egg with esoteric steps to perform

Bonus points if:

>Said easter egg leads to the true ending of the game

>boss fight takes place in front of a cheering crowd
