i mean as long as you're having fun ,it doesn't matter
remember that console plebs were content with less
same except i can use high settings since i got rtx3080
textures on high though
medium is just the right balance of performance and graphics
>medium is just the right balance of performance and graphics
you must be very poor to make compromises in 1080p
I play at anything between on 4K screen. Even resolution becomes somewhat irrelevant.
1080p
144hz
max settings
I'm sure that once I taste higher res gaming that I'll never be able to go back to 1080p, but I'm keeping myself ignorant because 1080p monitors are dirt cheap and lower res reduces system requirements significantly.
literally me

Yup, it's time to play some fighting games.

240hz low settings for me
I paid full price for this monitor earlier this year, I don't regret it, and it's astonishing how cheap it is NOW. Things have never been better for 1080p gamers.

already got a 27 inch 1080p 144hz screen IPS myself, pretty happy with it
tried 4k gaming. In most games it just ends up enabling useless detail like more blades of grass and fuller particle effects. There ends up being too much visual clutter to the point that it becomes diatracting. I use the monitor as a tv now but the GPU doesnt do much for me anymore
>360p
>ultra settings
Gaming time indeed.
Total war is a series every serious gamer should try but I find the historic games NOT good for new zoomers to the series
>warhammer 3
This is the GAME THAT you should try
I've been getting lost hours on end playing this game and every race and faction is different
>this game even has an African faction represented by the greenskins
I've never played a more inclusive game.
Try it ....
as someone who had your same settings and now plays on 1440p 144fps, it's noticeable but I still wouldnt mind going back to 1080p nearly as much as I'd mind going back to 60fps
Oh hey me too since I got GTX 970 7 years ago
lmao imagine spending a grand on a new GPU. FOR WHAT GAMES??
I use an RTX 3050 to play games at 60fps @ 1680x1050, and I mostly play old games so I can max the settings.
Only cringe competitiveniggers and literal underage care about muh feepeeass and muh resolution
>open steam
>library page
>stare at hundreds of unplayed games
>play nothing
Yep, it's gaming time.
>digital hoarding
(you) problem
Is there even a point to making the leap from 1080? I'm not really looking at my screen under a magnifying glass. Then again, I'm fine with ascii graphics, so my opinion is likely skewed
Medium with high textures is the best option for gaming
>no GPU stress, so they run quieter
>constant frametime
>low energy draw
No resolution is a meme
