You thought that at it's core it had very fun gameplay and some interesting mechanics but it was somewhat held back by issues that would need to be ironed out before it can truly be called a masterwork

>held back
It's really not held back by anything except not having more content.

bought it recently its probably a good game

HELP

stuff like the healing system and damage calculation is what I mean, although the second one doesn't show up too much outside of BBI.
But there's other things that can be improved like pawns sometimes being retarded(but they're usually helpful) and a world that feels pretty static(monsters always spawning in the same spots gets old).
I love Dragon's dogma but I hope the sequel fixes some of this.

God, I can't wait for more info and previews for the sequel. We've been waiting so long DD bros, I hope they give Itsuno a decent budget this time.

The final boss of bitterblack isle has some kino music playing during it.

Any mods that I should use on a first time playthrough? i.e. anything that fixes bugs, adds good QoL, gives good visual upgrades, etc.

Damage calcs were too simple and made it pretty bad because it was just straight attack - defense so things like split damage weapons were awful since you'd have to bypass two defense types.

This isn't the Skyrim thread buddy.

Still in the process of gold dragonforging gear

I'm sure there's like HD texture stuff around, but this isn't a game you're gonna be modding much.
I think there's a mod that lessens the glow on enchantments or other light sources, if you really want to.
But you'll be just fine vanilla

is that EXPLOSION

why did they ever change into free

>berserk armor restored
Wait what the fuck they're finally back in?

I think they lost the license to use the armors by time game got released for PC so it wasn't included.

very recent yes and this mod is going to open a floodgate since it means people can now ADD items to the game, rather than only edit ones that already exist.

it's an extremely casual game that's primarily about being stylish. some people like that, but I prefer some mechanical depth.

Damn, it really did happen just recently. Been waiting on this for so long I didn't think people would manage

Probably copyright BS

ToT

Like what?

post your fresh hard playthrough then faggot

You thought that it is possibly one of the best RPGs in existence and that is with a severely crippled overworld and lack of enemy diversity in the early game.
