I like nioh and all from software games. I also like dragon's dogma and devil may cry. I prefer action games over turn-based games, but I try to play some JRPGs every now and then because I think it's constructive to try lots of different games, since I might find something I enjoy that I would have normally disregarded at a glance.

Greatswords in Dragon's Dogma are fun as well.

Odachi has a better sense of momentum and style, DD greatsword wins when it comes to weight and chunky hitstop for sure though.

Nioh players entire identity is centered around eternal seethe about Fromsoft. It's the only way to get people to talk about their bootleg nipsouls

Like the other user said, DD has the best greatsword though you need mods to actually get the most out of it since it's the only class that arbitrarily has less skill slots than the rest.

You're right about spears though. I've never been a spearfag in any game and I avoided it entirely in Nioh 1, finally decided to give every weapon a chance in Nioh 2 and spear quickly became my favorite next to fists.

Nioh 2 is a good 3D World-like.

Actually wrong. When Nioh 2 first came out both OG release and PC release they were filled with baiters trying to start wars between souls and nioh and all that bullshit but when that type of shitposting got more and more ignored while Nioh threads would still get made daily and hit bump limit.

In reality it's literally the shitposters of Any Forums who just want (you)s and the ego of fromdrones that try to cause shitstorms in nioh threads when Nioh chads simply talk about the game, post builds, and post CaCs. Nioh doesn't really have good gameplay either.
The level design is far too shallow and "complexity" does not make gameplay good.
Wo Long sounds a lot better though with every change and from the gameplay videos we've seen.
