Hero of Oakvale would btfo any of the heroes from 2 or 3 as well as btfo the corruption or whatever it is single handedly, possibly all at once.

That shit's irrelevant anyway since you get good alignment points for killing literally any hostile enemy. You pretty much needed to go out of your way to kill every travelling merchant you come across or eat a bunch of chicken every so often if you wanted to stay evil.

Only the first 2 have any charm (You're also trying to mememory hole the numerous shit games like The Journey, Legends, etc).

3 was utter trash in every way, and 2 started the problem with it's "magic is dying out" BS. They could have saved the series by having Theresa take over the Spire at the end of 2, then use it to bring back the old world through the magic wish. Instead we got Fable 3 with even less fairytale elements and less magic.

That said 1 is amazingly charming and despite basic gameplay nothing has come close to its charm. 2 is flawwed but ultimately I still ended up feeling the need to replay it years later, so it does have some charm to it, I think mainly the music and comfy world. I just wish the castle wasn't so fucking shit, the Knothole island didn't invalidate the final choice further and the dlc in general was shit. Also no winter regions until Knothole dlc really sucked.

It's not the same without Peter Molyneux lying to you before release. He unironically added soul.
