>Ubisoft announces that they're bringing Splinter Cell back after almost a decade >Instead of excitement the reaction is mostly just scepticism and indifference
It's sad how far this company has fallen, in the 2000's they were one of the best western devs around.
it's what happens when you get too much money and use it to grow into a large entertainment corp instead of a gaming studio
Jackson Gray
I still like asscreed. Except Oddysey.
Caleb Price
well, when was the last good game they released?
Carter Russell
red storm made the good tom clancy games. ubisoft was the villain from the beginning
Aiden Garcia
Weren't they working on a remake of the first game?
Jose Sanders
that's funny because that's the only ass creed i like
Zachary Perry
That's what this is. It's on the Division engine.
Nathan Robinson
There are like 50 splinter cell games. Why should I be excited for another one?
Cameron Watson
Is Clint Hocking working on this? He's back at Ubisoft right?
John Peterson
>There are like 50 splinter cell games
There's literally just 6 mainline games plus some shitty mobile spin-offs nobody gives a shit about.
Brandon Jackson
Wanna fight or make out?
Carter Kelly
Splinter Cell goes Open World!
Kayden Cox
fight, i guess.
Dylan Phillips
Wasn’t that the original concept for conviction?
Colton Murphy
>Splinter Cell goes Open World!
It's a remake of the first game so that seems unlikely. They really do need to fucking overhaul a lot though because a lot of the first game has aged like ass.
I'd rather have a remake of the original considering Blacklist was that shitty kind of modern predator stealth where you have crouch sprinting and can execute a room of enemies with ease.
Julian Edwards
you think remake is going to be anything else than that?
Liam Ortiz
yes, Im all for it if they bring back classic spy v merc
Elijah Jenkins
The new novel has Sarah being trained as a Splinter Cell with Grímsdóttir overseeing the training. I have ONE fear.
Nolan Clark
>Try to get zoomer friends into Chaos Theory SvM >They don't have the patience to deal with the troubleshooting required to get it going in 2022 I'd honestly be down for a reboot for this reason alone, so long as they cut down on the retarded action shit.
Juan Flores
This happens in Tom Clancy's novels after his death. Jack Ryan's son is basically James Bond and Ding Chavez is basically is his mentor
Matthew Gomez
ONE fear.
Asher Hernandez
>last good game in the series was literally 17 years ago
