My main issue with Citra is that there's apparently no way to scale the screens by an integer amount, which makes any game that's based on pixel-art look fucking ugly unless you manage to scale it yourself perfectly.
Just a simple dropdown that had the usual "1x, 2x, 3x, 4x" for screen sizes would've been great.

3DS and DS games are the only games that I just straight up prefer to play on the original hardware. I have a hacked 3DS and some games are just a nicer experience on the 3DS.
I did play OOT3D on Citra, though. Ran nicely. Played Majoras Mask 3D with the restoration patch on a real 3DS afterwards and it was nice.

It's a shame. Because 3DS/DS are the only console/portable that will always be better on the real device than on an emulation (even if the emulation was good). Those game weren't made to be viewed on a big screen, and any game that heavily use touch screen feel awkward without the stylus.

it's more common than you think. GBA did it for GBC games. PS2 did it for PS1 games. Early PS3s famously had the PS2 hardware in launch models, but phased it out later.

Compared to the DS a lot of console/handheld have a bad library. DS is easily top 3 games library if you can ignore how ugly the games are. 3DS library is still decent.
