Now that the dust is settling, what's next for Monolithsoft and the Xeno-franchise?
Do you want another Xenoblade or a new Xeno(Word)? Do you want one that keeps aspects of the previous games like ether or the races, or something wholly new? Do you want any specific changes in gameplay? What do you NOT want?

I just want the DLC to give me more cute Shulk/Fiora shit. 2's DLC did fuck all with them in that regard.
I don't think the next game will be Xenoblade 4, but also don't expect it to be something like Xenoblade X2.

Harem ending is just a meme based on an interpretation of Rex's body language rather than explicit confirmation.
All three kids have the hair color of their mother and Rex is stooped over all three seated girls because Takahashi wanted it to be vague and open to interpretation who Rex got with.
It's a whole different story if all three babes had the same hair color as Rex, like Noah's CONFIRMED son shared the same hair color as his dad.
Nia not once confirms she married Rex or that Rex is Mio's father.

DLC first and foremost should fix the blue balls ending in XC3. Not pandering to dead characters who already got more than enough screentime in their game.
I'm ready for a new IP or at least a drastic shakeup of the formula. I still enjoyed XC3 a lot but the formula is getting a bit stale for me.

I felt kinda bad that there wasn't a sidequest when you bring Ethel back to her colony. If you take her to him you just get some joke dialog.
I want a hard sci-fi Xenoblade. Mechs, modern/future aesthetic, space stations etc.

I liked Xeno 1 but didn't like Xeno 2 enough to beat it. Would I enjoy or dislike Xeno 3?

She fought just fine until she got skewered. And that was more a consequence of being stuck in the mobile artillery. She's just as much a fighter as the others, machine parts or no.

I got to chapter 4 and was just bored with the cast and how bad the RNG was for the blades. But I've had other people say I stopped right as it gets good. I still own the game.
X2 or a new IP
3 is so unappealing I don't want to play it at all.
I liked 3 for the first 30 hours then it became an absolute slog
Chapter 4 is the worst chapter. The game is non stop kino from 7 to the end.
3 doesn't have gacha shit and the main cast is the best in the series

Yeah, you'll like 3. Serious to a fault, anime only in looks, and laser focused start to finish. Side questing is mandatory, otherwise you'll be very unsatisfied by the story mode alone.
No, she isn't on the same level as Shulk, Dunban or even Melia. Also she became mom and didn't have a lot of time to improve her skills.

You can beat the game by using common core blades and you will get plenty of cores and chances to get all the blades you want later on.

4 is the worst chapter in the series. It does get a lot better and I'd recommend finishing it before playing 3, but you can move on if you can't stand the game, 3 is mostly standalone.

Xenogun. In a completely sword and sorcery fantasy world, the MC finds a crashed spaceship. Inside is a dead alien and an alien gun. MC takes the alien gun and uses it to obliterate all the sword wielding losers and nerd mages.

I didn't mind the anime bits. I did get annoyed at how most fights felt like HP sponges even if I was using combat properly and doing combos. I'm still willing to give it a second try since I also didn't beat Xeno 1 but am currently in the middle of trying to do so. I'm at the part after the snow mountain where you fight that one dude who defected to the mechon for anyone wondering. I figure I might enjoy 2 more on my second attempt. But I wanted to know if 3 was more like 1 or 2.
