I agree, HMoFA is based because of the endless potential rich story telling & dynamic of a Human male interacting with a non-human and falling in love with. Humanity is perfect as is and all other fantasy races are really usually just personifications of our humanity. HMoFA is ideal because of how much depth it has as opposed to furfaggotry which is always fetish crap, playing as a human is perfect due to as you've stated, interfacing through my core personality, i am human after all irl.
