There's something comfy about watching my sims go about their lives in Sims 2. I guess it's the smaller scale of the game compared to 3 and the attention to little details like sound effects and animations.
I basically only play 3 to explore and collect stuff in the world like gems and artifacts from tombs and various rewards I can then show off in my house, but I never really play more than one sim or start a family.

I just want to get rich and build a neat house. Then my Sim must settle down and find another Sim, potentially cloning themselves instead. By that time I'm usually bored of the game and move to NSFW. Even in Sims 1 by that point I would activate the no-censor cheat and move the shower. Why must I be like this?

I kinda wish the Sims did involve some more darker elements in the games. Noth like murder or drugs, just maybe more of a macabre vibe the ealier games had. Like with the surprise phone calls from the Sims 1 or The Zombie Sims, which I'm shocked haven't been brought back as their own DLC yet
