Otogi 1 and 2 are FROM's magnum opas and anything that came after is shit

Oh my, can I buy these games on current gen? No? Then who cares!

Will they ever go on sale at the Xbox store? I really want to play them but not for 20 bucks each.

You actually can, they're backwards compatible on Xbox One and Series consoles and even in 4K on the X versions.

i would have to agree. best combat, best bosses, best characters and most easily understood story

Bloodborne is the masterwork. Masterwork is a little a different from a masterpiece (something excellent and lacking flaws), and a magnum opus (culmination of a career), a masterwork is a piece so above excellent, that all other artists take influence from it and it changes the medium. That is BB.

The only price that Bloodborne wins is most overhyped FromSoft game.

Nah. BB is better. Sekiro started the insane repeating boss nonsense and minted the pointless exploration for sugars and potshard featured in ER. I don't know why they think fighting Genchiro 5x is appropriate (it isn't).

It indeed is, playing the Souls trilogy, BB and Sekiro before ER already made me feel that way. Replaying it after ER on charmless confirmed that feeling for me even more, its such a nice and tight experience. Steamrolling Isshin on Charmless and struggling with Inner Genichiro for hours on Charmless with no resurrection were the most fun I had with FROM games in a while.
It was so refreshing how straightforward its challenge was compared to ER which had to resort to shit like input reading, delayed attacks...etc to remain "difficult".

No, that would be Dark Souls 1/2. Absolutely miserable games.

>sekiro
>repeating bosses
???

Same

I might consider it

Having a single weapon sucks.
>but it's an akshun game not an rpg
Literally a staple for action games to have their own weapon rosters. Ng, dmc, bayo, the list goes on

>clank clank
>deathblow
>rinse and repeat
lawl this game was boring as shit. It wasn't even hard either. You must be a fooking rhyhm brainlet to find it challenging.

so Dark Souls?

I had most fun playing sekiro than any other From games. Learning how the game works I think is what sells sekiro the most, because the moment you think your gud enough, the game just throws a boss to your face to tell you that you are NOT good enough. In my opinion I really think they peaked at sekiro and its all downhill when elden ring came out...

Not really, spirit emblems being an exhaustible resource is not fun

He probably means the repeated minibosses that have prayer beads, which have 2 versions at the very least.
Though that being said it isn't like BB is better or perfect, since the base game's second half has barely any new enemies. The DLC elevates BB so much, and anyone who says otherwise is lying through their teeth.

People are clamoring for the sequel but i don't know it would top the first game honestly.

>a masterwork is a piece so above excellent, that all other artists take influence from it and it changes the medium
Dark Souls is the only game that fits this criteria, it's called souls-like not borne-like

SORRY OP HERE. I POSTED THE WRONG IMAGE. THERE, FIXED.
