>xbox dead
>sony going down in flames
cant believe Nintendo won…
>Nintendo won
They are irrelevant. Only kids buy them
False
Nintendo has been winning since 06 hell they really only lost too the ps2.
All you need is a PC & nintendo combo and you're good to go. Even Sony Exclusives are slowly coming to PC uncharted 4 is coming soon. Sony is spreading its legs more and more for steam and epic and Sony cucks have too watch in horror.
I have five Nintendo Switches
didnt they lose during the ps1 days?
wow a literal who twitter shit FUCKING THREAD FUCK YOU
I can't believe how hard sony dropped the ball after the ps2. ps1 and ps2 were probably the best consoles of all time.
Nintendo is equally lame. All three consoles went about as far as they could go, becoming all-in-one media entertainment centers. MS gets more profit from movie rentals and that's how most people use their Xboxes. The games have been #2 for a while and, now, are becoming increasingly irrelevant. The next gen Xbox will just be WebTV with videogames available as a streaming service. The issue now isn't so much the technology but the pricing. Microsoft needs their own Fortnite or Amogus.
It honestly feels like Microsoft just fucking hates Halo. It feels like they fucking hate the ip, but force them self to release it, because it's all they have.
That only applied while Halo was their only IP worth a damn. Now Sea of Thieves have more prestige than Gaylo.
seriously what the fuck were they thinking how did this show get approved
That show and Halo 5 convinced me that Microsoft hates Halo and the Master Chief. I don't even know why they hate the ip.
>Why is it so hard to make good games?
>We pay three times as much to bloated HR, legal, and project management roles rather than focusing on the people who actually make video games
AAA deserves to be dead. Jesus Christ.
Would you, Any Forums?
343 is slowly losing all the good will they had
no
>how did this show get approved
Probably somebody bought the rights to Halo a long ass time ago back when Halo was relevant and there wasn't anything Microsoft could do about it outside of buying out the contract.
It's like why Resident Evil live action shit keeps being made, or that straight to DVD Doom movie that came out a few years back. Not made to promote anything, just use it so they can keep the rights rather than let it lapse back to the original IP holder.
Microsoft can't make new IPs for the same reason Hollywood can't, and it'll be what kills them. In another era when MS wanted to sell PCs (bear with me here) they made their own train simulator, flight simulator and combat flight simulator all of which are revered cult classics. But then MS killed all of that in 2004, because it required effort, yielding all of that to what is now Railworks and Train Sim World - two immensely profitable cash machines that were made viable through Steam. And Steam itself was created by an ex-MS employee. The company never recovered, at least in terms of games production, and now the rot has spread to all business units and publishers. It's like a cancer, whatever problem MS had at it's core has slowly spread and infected everything. That "problem" is making a new idea because company execs are so afraid of failure they refuse to try new ideas.
Sony is little better but never had a Halo killer in the first place, so seeing them flub with this year's racing game is not as notable. Sony can also just make a bunch of shit movie games that normies will still eat up.
I really do hope somehow GAAS is the downfall that finally kills gaming.
let me guess those laws are chinese indies dont have those issues
Halo 3 won, AGAIN.
>It honestly feels like Microsoft just fucking hates Halo.
Or they don't They are just severely creatively bankrupt. Everything has a ending and not everything is meant too keep going. Just ask Disney and Star Wars the series is nothing but a reanimated souless corpse at this point.
Any sane and die hard Halo fan deep down knows it needs to be put out its misery.
Don't worry, Microsoft has a new flagship shooter now.
I can't believe I live in a time where Nintendo is putting out my favorite modern shooter.
How did this happen?
Present gen Microsoft didn't grow up with Halo. They aren't Halo players. They're business executives from a wide diverse range of backgrounds aka a bunch of soulless, replaceable MBA yes-men who do not know what a good video game looks, feels, or plays like even if it killed them. Paramount Studios approached them with a bunch of money, they handed over art assets and yes. That was about the end of it, with the actual project managers and designers given no authority or creative license with the script generated from their (likely) automatic script generating program. If you were to ask these people to get into a Halo game they'd stand around, shoot each other and die quickly from their own grenades.
They think their customers have infinite tolerance and no brains for any of this, because they also don't. They seriously beilive people will continue buying a bad product/service forever.
Never attribute to malice, what can be attributed to stupidity. Time and again, corporates have proven they are out of touch kike boomers and genXers who care for nothing other than profit margins and ESG points. It's not the 00s and early 10s any more. Devs are limp wristed libshit cattle who just do as they're told by their shepherd. Not passionate nerds and artistic geniouses.
>can't believe the lifelong toymaker lost the virtual toymaking business
>They seriously beilive people will continue buying a bad product/service forever
Funny that you can use that for any massive american company including some foreign ones
>the best consoles of all time
But enough of the snes and n64
Nintendo lost when they abandoned the WiiU
