Looting phase kills it. And the CS knockoff they added is too slow and arenas too big. They should've just added deathmatch.

True. But you need people to play it with and the battle royale shit gets boring fast.
I unironically prefer playing oldschool CoD with loadouts, unlocks etc.

I like Apex for what it is but I’d rather just play CS than Valorant which just comes off as literal CS for Kids.

when they added control mode i was playing every single day and having fun
when they took off control i stopped playing
what if i just want to shoot people? apex chooses not to offer that.
