Im in the same predicament but then I remember vanilla wow is the real game and the expansions are just a daily quests and factions reputation grindfest... also there are actually good games to play nowadays after 2 decades of wow

I never playted WOTLK, got into wow during MOP, really liked classic, I'm going to resub for this bros...after this I swear I'll move to a private server.

Better community, free, same game, good community of pro social well adjusted people. Just stay away from icecrown. People will min/max anyway, those buffed realms require you to min/max properly and you still get a challenge.

What's the pop on warmane and do people still level?

Population is good, it's not dead. Icecrown is over crowded though.

Plenty of people leveling, it feels like a normal wotlk server with it's population. Good faction balance too.

Lordaeron is basically wotlk classic but not dogshit easy. Frostmourne has fast leveling with mythic dungeons and other cool additions. The changes don't interfere with the game though.

The scripting is good, still a few bugs here and there(pretty rare desu), but the old 3.3.5 client will be majority of the issues/bugs you experience.
