Why?
This game is so bad I had to make a thread. More mainline, less of this.

It's only negative is the shit escort missions, which are VERY bad. Aside from that, it's your standard tactical RPG, retard. Grinding is in every RPG. Just do a free battle or two. between story sections.
>Just do a free battle or two. between story sections.
Fuck no. Absurdly bad combat.
Lazy crybaby
I disliked the trpg combat in Survive cause it slowed down the story too much and was too shallow to justify having it. The only thing it does is side/flanking do more damage and elemental damage. I think it would have been better with just Digimon World combat without the fast dying or Cyber Sleuth combat. This is ignoring how annoying Shuuji, Minoru, and Ryo are.
Yes.
Honestly, it's my first sRPG.
I thought it'd be about strategy, but I'm already walled off by the Wendigo due to numbers and need to "grind" free battles to even stand a chance.
I'd just play a regular jRPG if I wanted that feeling.
>grinding
Someone's not good at these games. There's even an achievement for not touching the free missions once in your playthrough.
If you grind you're just bad. It's that simple.
Very disingenuous.
I do 10 damage and there's a boss with 200 health and 5 sets of minions.
I just deleted the game and I'm never gonna touch it again. Nice post.
Imo the only bad thing is how little money you get, you will buy at best 2 demons at an auction and make a single fusion without grinding.
I got that achievement, in ng+, I find it hard to believe anyone actually achieves it on a first playthrough, I grinded a lot my first time and Beelzebub,, Jezebel and Babel pushed my shit very hard, I cannot fathom in any way how that would have gone without me grinding.
The game gives you the tools to get through these. You just need to be smart about distributing your gained experienced in battle and fusing the right demons for the next map (you can always check what's coming up next).
Literally just mad cuz bad. At a turn-based game. lmao
Nigga I don't even have fusion yet. Suck a dick.
>This game is so bad I had to make a thread. More mainline, less of this.
It's literally one of the best games in the entire series.
It's definitely possible, you just need to mentally map out the upcoming battles, abuse fusion properly and play smart. You'll get your shit pushed in but that's part of the fun.
yeah because you can buy the demons you need lmao
filtered by THE FUCKING TUTORIAL (it's okay though SMT games are always hardest at the start)
Keep moving that goalpost. This game sucks dick and your nostalgia goggles are falling off.
(You) suck dick. Maybe if you stopped doing that and dedicated your mental faculties to something besides cocks you could get somewhere in the game.
always fun to see shitters filtered
Oh yes, the "did SMTxFE gameplay better then the actual SMTxFE" game
Honestly, the first one is kinda unforgiving in some design choice but it's part of the charm I guess
Second is better in some part but worse in other
>grinding
Uh?
Have a good day, user.
>grinding
doesn't game literally have a system in place that prevents you from doing that?
>I do 10 damage and there's a boss with 200 health
NOOOO I'M SUPPOSED TO ONESHOT EVERYTHING REEE
Same, user.
So what was up with Aya, she seems extremely important to the story and then nothing. I know it's revealed that she was sent away to the demon dimension or whatever, but Gin's reaction is basically "she is dead now, nothing to be done, let's move on" and that's exactly what happens, no one questions why this random woman can sing the language of demons.
>I do 10 damage and there's a boss with 200 health and 5 sets of minions.
skill issue, mad because bad
Yes.
Yes.
