I like CS because I've played since 1.5, it also runs on Linux.
Valorant is fresh, fun with the abilities added in and feels like the game everyone is playing. But sucks that it requires root and doesn't run on Linux.
Which is a better game to invest my time in? I'm not pro, but like to play competitive.
being mechanically competent is its own reward. Unlike a certain game with sluggish movement and random spray patterns
Hudson Stewart
i accidentally got all my friends into valorant, also i know other people that play and have made friends there so it will be hard for me to stop just for the social aspect
Carson Rogers
I do enjoy it a lot but why is it better? I don't care if one is the best game, I also care about the community around the game if that makes sense.
Preventing 20000 hour no lifers from peeking and memorizing spray patterns is a good thing.
Josiah Thompson
You don't have to waste 5000 hours to actually have fun in it.
Landon Robinson
Are you saying that CSGO actually takes skill? They both seem somewhat similar in their mechanics, at least compared to other FPS games. I like that Valorant has the abilities which adds an extra dimension to the game.
Nicholas Roberts
I have been playing cs:go on rare occasion since 2013 and have never made out of Silver. I am ass at the game. However, I am still able to use the spray patterns to my advantage, and if I had never traded the skins I had, I would have an inventory worth thousands of dollars. Meanwhile, Valorshit will change the balance every week like every other zoomshit game
>corridor is empty at 0:22 >he looks away for a literal instant >enemy appears at 0:23 HOLY FUCKING KVNO THAT LOOKS SOOO FUN THIS GAME REALLY REWARDS YOUR AWARENESS
Adrian Hall
in 10 years people are still going to be playing csgo, in 10 years valorant will have a failed sequel that will fade out of existence. screencap this
Blake Clark
so CSGO has spray patterns that you just memorize to counteract perfectly? Sounds kind of gay then, should it be a little bit random?
>Valorshit will change the balance every week like every other zoomshit game what does this mean? are you talking about skins?
Nolan Ortiz
what makes you think that? i mean, agree about the csgo still being around but not sure why you think valo will die so easily
Daniel Wood
They're random, but if you use the weapons at their intended range and fire at the optimal speed to minimize the spread vs. your target, then it doesn't come into play. This, and the maps remaining mostly static (besides Dust 2 and Cobblestone, they were on crack when they changed these) make every round feel like a chance to learn.
Andrew Rivera
CS is better. Always will be.
Jose Sanders
>make every round feel like a chance to learn Fuck that. The ideal multiplayer FPS should have nothing but procedurally generated levels.
