The Evil Within is the greatest survival horror game. Amazing set pieces, actual reasons to use all of the game's tools and mechanics, limited resources, great atmosphere, and fairly challenging, especially on higher difficulties.
The Evil Within is the greatest survival horror game. Amazing set pieces...
it's a shame RE2 overshadows it but oh well
people with no taste
has it decent kb/m controls? or should I just use gampad?
it's a survival horror game
you should always use controller
FUCK i missed the sale. Damn it.
I agree desu. It belongs next to RE4 and Dead Space as 3rd person survival horror kino
RE2 was just... too american
and since 2 had a more "positive feedback" I don't think we will see anything like RE1 anytime soon
I liked the initial scene where the three detectives go into the asylum and the guy pulls up his gloves.
Is the dlc any good? I loved the base game.
It's underrated but far from the best survival horror game. Still too much of a pull from hallway-tier action horror design. Maybe if it had more shit like chapter 3 then it could be an all-time great. That said, the agony crossbow might be one of the most fun weapons to grace a survival horror game.
Story-wise, abso-fucking-lutely. Gameplay-wise, it's like a more hide-and-seek version of the campaign.
it's the best modern one at least unless we're taking in consideration of indies which case tormented souls wins by a long shot
it has its problems but you can tell for sure it was made with love and passion, from someone who know what fun video games are, and 2 was just... I don't know how to describe it, I was disappointed to say the lest
ok so bait aside is evil within actually like pre-res4 resident evil games?
no it's like a post-re4 resident evil game
it's like RESI 4 but toned down with way more atmosphere some enemies you have to burn or else they keep getting back up
It was made by Mikami didn't you know?
This game has nice visuals
it looks pretty good still but I don't think any of the NURE can even compare in atmosphere
for me it was, if you really liked the combat maybe not since it's mostly stealth with no goo collecting and upgrading. i really liked the art design in the dlc areas and the way the story was presented
TLOU I/II rendered this whole series obsolete in just about every department and the only thing that stands between it and being praised here is the lack of Japanese aesthetics.
Never played TLOU because I'm not a SNOY
>TLOU
>Obsolete
if you're a retarded faggot and don't care about gameplay sure
