what makes normies consider this the best roguelite ever? it's good but it's absolutely not close to the best. super easy to get burnt out on this
as for the best, for a serious pick i'd probably throw in either gungeon or isaac (antibirth music mod required). for a pick with more personal bias i'd say vagante because it's my favourite
if this game had proper level variety then it would have been absolutely amazing, but it has like zero of it
Jack Diaz
I refuse to play this game because of its perspective.
Cameron Roberts
it's easy as shit and you can play it with your brain turned off and it has a bunch of progression garbage that makes zoomers feel like they're accomplishing something
Henry Jackson
yea. stage variety and different bosses would've elevated this game a LOT. i understand they wanted to go with the underworld but they should've figured something out, it's too boring
what's wrong with the perspective? it's just an isometric view. do you have a condition that makes it harder to gauge where you're at and stuff
Xavier Martin
Being playing that chink fps indie roguelite, gunfire reborn, new dlc just released, being having fun on coop
Joseph Rivera
4 stages is fine, the problem is its 5 bosses with some extra flair because of EM but nothing else.
An even bigger issue is how shoe horned into certain builds you are because they don't want to let you stack multiple attack boons at once or hammer upgrades. Why can't I get Zeus, Ares and Artemis attack all at the same time?
Stages suck but its a good turn off brain game. Unironically perfected Borderlands gun generation.
my favorites are crypt of the necrodancer and one step from eden hades fucking sucks
Xavier Green
it's incredibly simple, has fuck all for content, and is very short so it's easy for people with shit taste to play through.
Oliver Ramirez
Hades's gameplay is the weakest thing about the game, sad since the rest of it is such high quality. They spent all their money on music, VA and artists and gave game designers crumbs.
Jaxon Ward
necrodancer is too hard, i can't get into that shit at all. one step from eden is good but forgettable imo, maybe i just haven't played it enough. may i suggest vagante, valued customer
Zachary Allen
that's kind of a problem with supergiant. gameplay always seems secondary. although i feel like hades was their first attempt at making an actual focused game. it still didn't really work out though, the game isn't fleshed out enough. at least i enjoyed it. and pyre
Nathaniel Gray
Slay the Spire and Synthetik Both much better than that one, although Hades is good for a few hours even despite its outrageous anti-white agenda
>necrodancer is too hard You would probably like Cadence of Hyrule then user
Jordan Hall
honestly i would, because i love the zelda series. but i don't have a switch. i guess i could emulate it though
Evan Anderson
it has good presentation and that's literally all normalfags care about. they don't care about the gameplay because they're not playing it for the gameplay.
Enter the Gungeon is the best roguelite. Hades is really just lore and story, each run isn't unique enough to put hours into it
Ryan Rivera
I need to give that a proper try, I couldn't get into it
John White
aside from the issues with the final boss, it's extremely good. and when you get sick of it, you can just install the multiverse mod and play what is essentially a sequel
