>I just want to play WC3 campaign for the first time. What version do I download? Without widescreen? 1.26b With widescreen? 1.30.1 >What are the differences in versions? 1.26b is the most bug-free single-player. This version does not have official widescreen support. Unofficial widescreen mods exist but stretch the UI: hiveworkshop.com/threads/renderedge-graphic-modification-for-warcraft-iii.288375/ 1.27b is the latest offline version (only requires the patch file, no need to connect to Battle.net). However, 1.27a introduced the missing ambient sounds bug that didn't get resolved until 1.30.1 1.29.2 is a relatively bug-free single-player with widescreen support. 1.29.1 is also passable but has more bugs. Check the patch notes to see if you mind. 1.30.1 and on fix the ambient sounds issue. This is also the version supported by WC3Connect if you ever want to play online multiplayer including custom maps in a Battle.net-like environment, but outside Blizzard's official Battle.net 1.31.1 is the latest pre-Reforged version. This version added a lot of modding/world editor updates like LUA support. PTR builds do not support LAN play
is everyone that pretends this game is good part of an inside joke? the gameplay is braindead, the combat if you can even call it that plays itself for you, the writing is hilariously cheesy and bad, it's ugly as sin, the controls are junk, and from what little I played of the Durotar campaign it just throws bullshit quests on you one after the other and not one of them is interesting
Wyatt Perez
Based, but I already set up 1.27b
Elijah Morales
is WC3Connect alive? I want to play 4s rt like the good old days.
Dominic Watson
0/10
Jacob Parker
as someone who's never touched it, which version is the best "just wants to play the game" version?
>played wc3 a ton >never played frozen throne >go to buy it >can't because reforged is coming out >dang >oh look they gave me frozen throne for free >nice >download it >start campaign >awesome >reforged launches >game ruined why?
Jordan Wright
OP was not a faggot this day. Thanks.
Zachary Peterson
1.27b is the least fuss/muss. Ambient noise breaks sometimes but that's incredibly minor. Everything past that takes more effort for minimal gain. If you get super into it and want to play multiplayer you can update from there.
Dominic Fisher
Just from reading OP: 1.31.1 for singleplayer 1.30.1 for multiplayer
Brody Allen
So 1.31.1 doesn't support WC3Connect? Onlt 1.30.1?
Jaxson Robinson
Yeah.
Landon Perry
Why's that?
Jason Edwards
Has anyone played ladder on reforged? Guess it got added this month. I really just want to play fucking competitive video games and it took them 3 fucking years to add a ladder
Brayden Watson
is what I'd rate the game
Kayden Lee
Because 1.3.1 is a different build than the one they were using prior and nobody did the legwork.
Bentley Hernandez
I played it when it was re-released. I don't know how it is now. It was nice playing with very low delay.
Aiden Reed
Thanks user.
Robert Edwards
>why? Because actiblizz is a soulless husk of everything that made blizz good.
Luis Martin
Stuck at black screen on 1.31.1.
Mason Sullivan
i'll just pick whichever one is untainted by nu-blizzard's corruption
Lincoln Bennett
Thanks for the offer but my old, still installed 1.13b is all I need.
Alexander Cox
It's literally the same game.
Blake Richardson
>1.30.1 and on fix the ambient sounds issue. This is also the version supported by WC3Connect if you ever want to play online multiplayer including custom maps in a Battle.net-like environment, but outside Blizzard's official Battle.net You forgot to mention that 1.30 was the version that removed EAX2. Might matter for some user.
Carter Hughes
Not sure I want to download things from some guy on Any Forums but thanks anyway.
Josiah Murphy
I know you are shitposting but they did replace some missions so no it is not the same game
